[2nd Episode] A set of reflections to answer the question on ‘who are you without your job title?

The journey to discover the question on ‘who are you without your job title’ does not justify to compensate the work excellency and ethic we should uphold. If that is the case, then we do it wrong.

My goal to answer the question on ‘who are you without your job title?’ is to build the life that is deeply rewarding and left me with the least regrets by the time I die.

Human and life are connected in such complex needs, I believe these are the core gaps that I — as a human — must fulfill in order to build the intrinsically rewarding life:

  1. Purpose: what keeps me going when things get extremely difficult
  2. Relationship: the connections with people that matter
  3. Health: physical and mental well-being
  4. Intellectual & emotional growth: better knowledge and wisdom
  5. Wealth: no room for frustration to pay the bills and the lifestyle I indeed can afford (never push beyond your boundaries for a lifestyle)
  6. Spiritual tranquility: connection and commitment with the Higher Level

ps. The good laughter and fun as №7

Whereas making the job title as my identity will only lead to fulfill few needs above, the rests are left untouched even destroyed.

The next one-million dollar question for me is:
how can I achieve those six (or seven) points without sacrificing one another?

Hi there, thank you for reading my 2-minute biweekly reflections about life and career!
